More Dumb People Of The Week!

Its been so busy this week that I am really behind on my blogs! O well... I've found some very interesting thing this week...
#1... If you don't know what it is or can't spell it, don't waist our time!

Let me walk you through it!
Problems #1: I actually know the guys who posted this eBay add... and yes he is as dumb as he sounds! He copied and pasted the first half of the add... I think you can tell where his add started.
Problem #2: Who ever buys this saddle is gonna be pissed off beyond belief! Its not a close contact saddle! Its an all purpose! The saddle needs oiled (no, oiled is an understatement!), new billets and re-flocked.
Problem #3: He measured the seat wrong... Its probably only a 17" seat!
Problem #4: I myself think this is a wide tree saddle...
Problem #5: I will never buy a saddle from someone who cannot spell stirrup and especially someone who doesn't know what a GIRTH is! ( I love how he put "the strap that holds the saddle to the horse" lmao)

The sad fact is that this old, worn out, and need of some TLC saddle is probably going to end up in my tack room when he doesn't sell it. He gave around $20 for it at a local auction, and from what I can see... He payed WAY too much!

Horse Tack That Is Just... Tacky!!

While recently browsing for a new horse saddle I couldn't believe some of the things I found!! What are people thinking!!!!!

#1. Baby Poop Green anyone?






Baby poop green barrel saddle with matching tack! Complete with ostrich print and laced pommel and cantle. This saddle was going for $349! I originally thought this was a kids saddle until I saw it had a 17" seat! Some poor schlum is going to me made fun of A LOT!

#2 Im at a loss for words!



First let me state the fact that I have no problem with using rhinestones on bridles. But this thing is just ugly!!!! Silver AND Gold concho's with red white and blue rhinestones! Im pretty sure my horses would refuse this bridle and threaten to launch me to the other side of the arena if I tried to put this on them. This bridle is for sale and going for a whopping $60.

#3 Saved the best for last!




I honestly don't know where to begin. Custom hand painted headstall with glitter and rhinestones. Selling for $150 on ebay! Enough said. *head desk*

Dumb Horse People Of The Week!

Here is a great example if dumb and ignorant horse people! I am a big supporter of horse rescue groups and I think it is absolutely wonderful thing they do. I have rescued a few horses myself and know how much hard work and effort has to be put into it.

But this woman is ridiculous! Not only do we have a 20 yr. old mustang, this horse is the dominant mare and also requires an experienced rider. So let put our 2 year old in front of her legs while snapping pictures!




Koby is a 20 year old Mustang who is in training with us. When completed she will make a good 4-H, trail, or companion horse. She is healthy and sound with great hooves. She is an easy keeper and stays fat on hay only. She is the dominant mare of the group and needs a confident horseperson to work with. Her adoption fee is $250.
Koby is up-to-date with routine shots.
